Annie Jo Roark went to be with the Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Dixon McLaren, Annie Eloise McLaren and daughter, Leslie Ann Cook. Annie was born on August 4, 1943 in Brownfield.
Annie worked for Fresenius Medical Care as an insurance billing agent. She retired in 2012 after 20 years of service. Apart from her career, Annie loved watching CBS and often swore there was nothing else better to watch. More than all, she adored her family and spending time with her new granddaughter was one of the biggest highlights of her well spent 79 years of life.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Durrett of Lubbock; one granddaughter, Laren Anderson and husband Jai of Lubbock; one great granddaughter, Lennon Anderson.

Graveside services for Ms. Roark will be 10:00 am Friday, August 4, 2023, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Rev. Elias Garcia officiating. The family will have a visitation on Thursday evening, August 3, 2023, at Broadway Funeral Directors from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
