Armando D Rios

Armando D. Rios, 69, was born November 15, 1953, in Muleshoe to Manuel & Aurora Rios.  He married Rosalinda Martinez on August 14, 1981 in Lubbock and worked as a carpenter for most his life. Armando enjoyed fishing and really loved the ocean. He loved traveling, riding his motorcycle and being a jack of all trades often tinkered with anything that needed fixing. Before retiring, Armando flipped houses and kept busy as a Cursillista which kept him active as his church Our Lady of Grace. Along with his love for God, Armando loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.    

Armando D Rios claimed the promise of his baptism when he was called to his eternal home on January 18, 2023.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Rosalinda Rios of Lubbock; one son & daughter-in-law, Joshua Lee & Maria E. Rios of Lubbock; three daughters & sons-in-law, Irma Linda & Edward Diaz of Lubbock, Naomi & T.J. Rios of Brownfield, Jessica & Rogelio Pacheco of Lubbock;  two brothers, Tomas Rios of Lubbock, Abel Rios of Austin; four sisters, Rosalinda Gonzales of Brownfield, Abby Rios of San Antonio, Susana Comings of Alaska, Luz Elida Rios of Lubbock; seventeen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, Manuel Rios Jr., Jose Rios, Lionel Rios.

Services for Mr. Rios will be 10:00 am Monday, January 23, 2023, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Rudy Crasta officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A rosary will be held 6:00 pm Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
