Belen Garcia

Funeral services celebrating the life of Belen Soto Garcia, 75 of Lubbock will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in The Chapel at Broadway Funeral Directors with the Rev. Cipriano Maldonado officiating.  Interment will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.

Ms. Soto went to be with her Lord on February 9, 2018.  She was born February 4, 1943 in San Antonio, TX to the late Adolfo and Reyes Soto.  She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially taking care of her grandchildren and visiting with her brothers and sisters.  She loved music, shopping and always kept busy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Valentine Soto, Sr., George Soto and Raul L. Soto; two sisters, Lily Ramirez, Mary Lou Soto.  She is survived by two sons, Raul Garcia and Felipe Garcia; one daughter, Gloria Maldonado Rodriguez all of Lubbock; one sister, Lucia Soto of Lubbock; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will have visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. in The Chapel at Broadway.
