Betty Lyn Hull, a compassionate soul who dedicated her life to child care, has peacefully left us on June 20, 2023. Born on February 2, 1953 to the late John & Dorothy Hull in Lubbock, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Betty's passing has left a void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Betty brought endless joy and warmth into the lives of countless children throughout her career in child care. Her nurturing nature and gentle spirit were felt by all who crossed her path. With unwavering dedication, Betty worked tirelessly to ensure that every child under her care felt loved and supported.

Beyond her career, Betty's true pride and joy came from being a grandmother. She showered her five grandchildren with unconditional love and cherished every moment spent with them. They were the light of her life and a constant source of happiness for Betty.

In her free time, Betty found solace in playing mobile games like Scrabble and other word games. She had an impressive knack for puzzles and words, often impressing everyone around her with her wit and strategy. Additionally, she had a unique fondness for horror movies that added a thrill to her leisure hours.

Betty Lyn Hull's impact reached far beyond the boundaries of her immediate family. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and empathy that will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have experienced it firsthand. Among the many people mourning the loss of such an incredible individual are her two daughters: Emily Smith and husband Jeremy, Amber Brunet and husband Jackie; one sister, Patsy Foster

She is preceded ind eath by two sisters, Peggy Leach and Judy Garcia.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Betty's well-lived life will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, July 3, 2023, in The City of Lubbock Cemetery.  It will be a time for family and friends to gather together, sharing stories and memories of a remarkable woman.

As we bid farewell to Betty Lyn Hull, let us remember her infectious laughter, her kind heart, and her unwavering love for those around her. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and her memory will continue to inspire kindness and compassion in all who knew her.
