Graveside services for David Lollar, 76, of Lubbock will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 18, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. Elizabeth Abraham officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. David passed on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at his daughter and son-in-law’s residence in Spring Branch Tx. under the care of Votive Hospice. He was born in Hamberg, Arkansas on September 9, 1945 to Woodrow and Euitt Lollar. David was a man of many hats. He drove a truck, worked in the steel industry, did road construction, set up mobile homes and loved to “tinker” on any and everything. His passion was to help anyone in need of assistance whether it be to fix, build or just help with everyday needs. He had a big heart and never met a stranger.
David is preceded in death by the love of his life, Julie Lollar; his mother, Euitt McNeice; father, Woodrow Lollar; sisters, Virginia Ann Banks, and Marilyn Jo Poe; stepfather, Odell McNeice and several nephews. Those left to celebrate his new life are his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Dean Rabe of Spring Branch, Tx.; son and daughter-in-law, Cole and Angelia Lollar of Lufkin, Tx.; 4 beautiful grandchildren, Krystyn Vinson and husband Josh of Springtown, Tx., Jon Jon Perryman and wife Samantha of Alvord, Tx., Emily Lollar of Arlington, Tx. and Logan Lollar of Lufkin, Tx.; 2 great grandchildren, Raylee and Ryder Perryman of Alvord, Tx.; a brother, Lewis McNeice of Amarillo, Tx; a sister, Frances Jordan of Monticello, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Broadway Funeral Directors from 4:00-7:00 pm, Friday June 17, 2022
Memorials are suggested to any Hospice facility of choice.
