Dorothy Spear

Dorothy J. Spear, 72 passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Lubbock.  A Memorial service will be held for Mrs. Spear 10:00 am Friday, July 27, 2018 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Pastor Jerry Stewart officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.

Dorothy was born January 30, 1946 in Dalhart to James & Evelyn Jasper.   She worked as a seamstress for most of her life and enjoyed traveling, music, watching western movies and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, James Robert Miller & wife Suzie of Colorado, William Craig Miller of San Antonio; one sister, Rose Sargent of Lubbock; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a nephew, Bradley Sargent & Wife April; three great nephews.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Jasper.
