Estevan Gutierrez

Estevan S. Gutierrez, 72 was born March 28, 1948 in Seguin, Texas to Pedro & Angelita Gutierrez.  He married his High School sweetheart Gloria Leos on March 18, 1967 in Lubbock and worked for City Bus as a driver for over 17 years. He was a big fan of Notre Dame football and spending time with his family was always a big must. Saturday nights were always spent with food, games, and family.

In the early morning of July 24, 2020, Estevan S Gutierrez was carried from this earth in the arms of his heavenly father.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria Gutierrez; two daughters, Teresa & Robert Hernandez, Christi Gutierrez & Jake Herrera all of Lubbock; his mother, Angelita Gutierrez;  one brother, Henry & Maria Gutierrez; four grandchildren, Rogelio Pena Jr, Jacob Gutierrez, Andrea Pena, Jayden Rodriguez all of Lubbock and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Gutierrez.

A rosary will be held 6:00 pm Sunday, July 26, 2020 in the Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors.  Funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm Monday, July 27, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Pina officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.  Visitation will begin 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors.
