Eva Jane Sanchez, 63 of Lubbock, passed away in the early hours on the 25th of August after a courageous battle with cancer. Eva was born in Slaton, Texas to Christino and Rosa Garcia De La Cruz. Eva grew up surrounded by her large family of 15 siblings and many aunts and uncles.
She was a loving mother and adoring wife to husband Domingo Sanchez of 47 years. She met her husband in 1976 while attending church. As a mother she was strong, loving, and self-taught in many things. She was known for her love to draw and tend to her plants…..She worked hard for many years being a seamstress. Eva was a very caring woman with a big heart, always giving what she could to others and helping out anyone in need. Her faith was extraordinarily strong, she was down to earth and appreciated the simple things in life.
She will be missed dearly by her family and especially by her husband Domingo, daughter's Amanda and Julia and son Michael who adore her with all their hearts.
A wonderful woman, beautiful mother and adored grandmother.
