Fabiola Garcia, born on August 21, 1963, in Lubbock, Texas to Pete & Dolores Garcia, passed away on January 30, 2025, in California. Fabiola’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, faith, and compassion. She held a deep affection for reading her Bible and embraced praise and worship as central elements of her life. Her spirit found joy in traveling, spending tranquil moments at the park, and taking walks with her beloved dog, Charlie. Most cherished were the times she shared with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be etched in their hearts forever.
Fabiola was a devoted mother; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe Anthony and Ingrid Garcia of California, and her two daughters, Andrea Gaines and son-in-law Richard Gaines, and Ashly Garcia, all of California. Her legacy lives on through her family, which includes twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored beyond measure.
A pillar of strength in her family, Fabiola was surrounded by her brothers, Pete Garcia Jr., Martin Garcia, Octavio Garcia, and Christoval Garcia, and her sisters, Yolanda Garcia and Roseann Garcia, all residing in Lubbock. The warmth of her presence will be deeply missed by them, as well as by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Fabiola is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Maricelda Sanchez, Sylvia Flores, and Lydia Garcia, who welcomed her into the next life. Their memories will be cherished alongside the love she gave throughout her life.
Services in honor of Fabiola will be held at Broadway Funeral Directors in Lubbock, Texas. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Send Off Service on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM
As we celebrate Fabiola’s extraordinary journey of life, let us remember her spirit that was full of hope, love, kindness, and compassion. Let us hold dear to the dedication she showed to her family and faith and serving others.
Fabiola was bold about what she believed in and she was fiercely passionate about her loved ones & friends . She has touched many lives and will forever be remembered as the light she brought to this world. Let us continue her Legacy by being the light of faith she so desperately fought for.
