Felecita Hernandez

Felecita Hernandez, 97, was born February 17, 1924 in Richland Springs to Joe & Isidra Soto.  She married Florentino Hernandez on October 21, 1940 in San Saba County and was a home maker for most of her life.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting blankets for all of her family, and canning food, fruits and all kinds of preservatives. More than anything, she loves spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In the late afternoon of February 20, 2021, Felecita Hernandez was called from this earth into the arms of her loving savior.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Albert Hernandez and wife Sue of Lubbock, Alonzo Hernandez of Amarillo; one brother, Tony Soto of Plainview; two sisters, Dora Soto of Idalou, Maria Asebedo and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Estella Hernandez, a son, Florentino Hernandez Jr., and one grandson, Bruce Hernandez.

Services for Mrs. Hernandez will be 10:00 am Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Pastor Tony Morin officiating.  Burial will follow at 1:00 pm in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
