Fred Santistevan

March 28, 1957 — September 3, 2021

Fred L. Santistevan, 64, was born March 28, 1957, in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Louise Vincenta. He married Vera Cortez on August 31, 2003, in Lubbock and worked as a truck driver for McLanes most of his life.  Apart from being a hard worker, Fred enjoyed racing, truck driving, loved hot rods, loved to laugh and just be funny. However, his greatest joy in life, was spending time with his family who will always cherish the memories they have with him.

On the afternoon of September 3, 2021, Fred L. Santistevan was called into eternal rest.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Vera Cortez of Lubbock; two sons, Lawrence Santistevan of Lubbock, and George Santisteven also of Lubbock; two daughters, Lauren Santistevan of Lubbock and Lori Olivo of Lubbock; five brothers, Richard Santistevan, Alex Santistevan, Leroy Santistevan, Willie Santistevan, and Mike Santistevan ; three sisters, Mararette Santistevan, Rose Santistevan, and Ramona Santistevan; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Louise Vincenta.

Viewing and visitation for Mr. Santistevan will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021. There will be a rosary at 7:00 pm in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Monsignor David Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
