Jesus Antonio Lopez JR. "Anthony"

Jesus Antonio Lopez JR. "Anthony", born on September 25, 1980, bid farewell to his earthly journey on September 18, 2023. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will forever be cherished.

Jesus was born and raised in Lubbock and attended Estacado High School where he exhibited exceptional dedication to his studies, graduating early with honors in 1998. After graduating high school, Anthony joined the Army and although he undoubtedly made significant contributions during his time in uniform, he also had a zest for life outside of duty. He possessed a passion for playing video games, enjoyed listening to R&B slow jams, cheering on both the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys, and even engaging in friendly games of dice. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to forge bonds with those who shared similar interests.

Jesus leaves behind his wife, Beatriz Lopez; his beloved father, Jesse Lopez; his son, Nathaniel Lopez; and two siblings, Sonny Lopez and Jessica Lopez.

He is preceded in death by his mother Pauline Lopez and stepmother Annadeen Lopez. 

As we bid farewell to Jesus Antonio Lopez JR., let us remember him as a beacon of kindness, resilience, and love. All services however with respect to the family's wishes will be private.
