Joe D. Cisneros, 66 passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Lubbock. Services for Mr. Cisneros will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Jim McCartney officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, May 24, 2019 at Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
Joe was born January 15, 1953 in San Antonio to Lupe Cisneros & Celia Balderas. He enjoyed music, playing his portable organ, dancing to rock music, and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Celia Huerta of Lubbock; two brothers, David & Cindy Huerta, Ruben Huerta all of Lubbock; three sisters, Sylvia & Rudy Leal, Sally Huerta, Vera Reyes & Alex Cedillo all of Lubbock; numerous nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lupe Cisneros; step father, Ray Huerta; one brother, Robert Cisneros; one sister, Diana Orosco.
