Jose Reyes

Jose Antonio Reyes, 66, was born December 30, 1955, in Deming, NM to Jose & Gomecinda Reyes.  He worked as a custodian for Roosevelt High for many years and enjoyed listening to country music, watching karate movies, working on cars and drawing.  More than all, Jose loved spending time with his family.

Jose Antonio Reyes was called from this earth on February 17, 2022, in Lubbock. Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters, Maria Cristina Guerrero, Becky Ann Guerrero both of California, Rosie Reyes of Harlingen; one brother, Ramon Reyes of Killeen; three sisters, Maria L Guerrero of Petersburg, Terry Reyes of Harlingen, Maria Jesusa Mares of Cargill.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Lupe Reyes, Juan Reyes; five sisters, Josefa Garza, Gomecinda Hinojosa, Maria Magdalena Guerrero, Margarita Benavides, Concepcion Reyna.

Services for Jose Antonio Reyes will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Petersburg with Father Sylvester Sousa officiating. Burial will follow in the Petersburg Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
