Joshua Mendoza

Joshua Ezequiel Mendoza, 31, was born July 7, 1989 in Lubbock to Juan A. & Teresa Mendoza.  He graduated from New Deal Highschool and worked in construction doing remodels for most of his life.  He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, cooking, and was known for always lending a helping hand.  Joshua had a big heart and was looked up to by all of his younger cousins, nephews, and nieces.  His loving smile and kind demeanor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In the early morning of May 1, 2021, Joshua Ezequiel Mendoza was called from this earth and into glory.  Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Juan & Teresa Mendoza of Lubbock; his brother, Johnny Jason Mendoza of Lubbock; his sister, Melissa Munoz Hernandez of Hereford; his grandmother, Mary Sue Sendejo; nine nieces and nephews, Maria Mendoza, Gino Mendoza, Harley Mendoza, Skie Mendoza, Jeremiah Munoz, Zacharia Munoz, Analiah Munoz, Raimiah Hernandez and Elissiah Hernandez; his godmother, Alicia Rocha

He is preceded in death by his furry companion, Smokey.

Services for Mr. Mendoza will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 8, 2021 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors.  A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, May 7, 2021 in The Chapel with viewing starting at 5:00 pm.  All arrangements were made under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
