Kirsten West Guerrero, born on July 11, 1990, in Lubbock, Texas, embarked on her final peaceful slumber on April 4, 2024, in the same city she called home. She was a 2008 graduate of Monterrey High School and will be fondly remembered for her passion for the written word, as she found solace and joy within the pages of various books. Her love for literature was only rivaled by her devotion to her beloved family.
In the wake of her departure, Kirsten is lovingly survived by her mother, Stefani West & partner J.D. Robinson, father Mark West of Lubbock; her cherished sister, Abigail Nicole West; and her ex-husband turned best friend, Steven Guerrero; her maternal grandmother, Rhonda Barnard, paternal grandfather, Don West, grandpa Gene Pool, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends whose lives she touched with grace and kindness.
She now reunites with her maternal grandfather, Dennis Barnard, paternal grandmother, Susan West, and cousin Caleb West in the great beyond.
Viewing for Kirsten will be 7:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2024, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors. A Funeral Service honoring her life will be 1:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2024, also in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Pastor Eric Hiner officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
