Linda Diaz

Linda T Diaz, 76, was born July 19, 1944 in Silver City, NM to Gilbert & Agnes Torres.  In 1985, she married the late Aurelio Lucero in Lorenzo and after retirement, was a home maker.  She enjoyed making crafts which included, knitting, crocheting, and baking sweets for her family was top on her list.  Linda also enjoyed gambling, often going to casinos to play the slot machines but more then anything, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

On the morning of September 30, 2020, Linda T Diaz was called from this earth into the arms of her heavenly father.  Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Donna Diaz of Lubbock; her son and daughter-in-law, John & LouAnnye Diaz of Lubbock; two brothers, Alfonso Torres, Felix Torres both of New Mexico; three sisters, Emilia Musquez of Colorado , Mary Maruffo, Dolly Chavez both of New Mexico; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Alex Torres, Gilbert Torres Jr.: a sister, Peggy Torres

Services for Ms. Diaz will be 10:00 am Saturday, October 3, 2020 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Deacon Joe Morin officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
