Lupe Narvaiz

Lupe H Narvaiz, 83, was born Lupe Hernandez on December 12, 1937 in Taft, Texas to Alfonso & Petra Hernandez.  She married Cruz R. Narvaiz on January 7, 1977 and worked as a beautician for most of her life.  She enjoyed crocheting, cooking for her family, working in her yard.  She loved antiques and going to casinos but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In the early morning of January 14, 2021 surrounded by her family, Lupe H Narvaiz was called from this earth into the arms of her beloved savior.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard & Alice Hernandez of Lubbock, Roland Hernandez, Jerry Hernandez, Charles Patrick & Felicia Hernandez all of Fort Worth; two daughters, Sylvia & Robert Rangel of Lubbock, Angela & Rodger Bowers of Richmond; one brother, Ernesto S. Hernandez of Lubbock; one sister, Andrea Arellano of Wilson; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cruz Narvaiz (08/14); a grandson, Ricardo Hernandez Jr. (06/90); a great granddaughter, Mya Raine Jackson (12/18); three brothers, Gumecindo Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Julian Hernandez; three sisters, Felicitas Aleman, Nieves Cortez, Luisa DeAnda.

Services for Mrs. Narvaiz will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Father Joseph Thanavelil officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.  A rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday, January 15, 2021 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
