Nathaniel Vargas

Nathaniel Kaleb Vargas, 25, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Lubbock.  Services for Mr. Vargas will be 10:00 am Monday, July 15, 2019 at Victory Christian Center with Pastor Tito Ortega officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A celebration of life service will be held 6:00 pm Sunday at Victory Christian Center with visitation starting at 2:00pm.

Nathaniel was born December 6, 1993 in Rialto, CA to Eliseo & Ruby Vargas.  He married Brianna Salas on April 28, 2018 in Lubbock and worked installing counter tops for Allied Stone. He enjoyed playing soccer, eating, cooking out and was an amazing musician.  With talents in playing the bass guitar, piano, & saxophone to name a few, he loved using these talents in his ministry.  His voice was used not only in singing but in making sure all knew the glory of God.  Although his days have come to an end on this earth, his message will continue in the seeds that were planted in the many hearts of the people he met.  “Stan the man” loved God, his wife and his family and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Brianna Vargas of Lubbock; his parents, Eliseo & Ruby Vargas of Dallas; three brothers & sisters-in-law, Uriah & Roxxy Vargas, Eric Eliseo & Soluna Zuniga all of Lubbock, Elvis & Jeneviv Vargas of Dallas; two sisters, Chelsey Vargas, Beverly Vargas both of Lubbock; a nephew, Ezra Vargas; two nieces, Jaylah Vargas, Eliyana Vargas.
