Pablo Gomez

Pablo Gomez, 78, was born April 26, 1943, in Raymondville, TX to Pablo Gomez Sr. and Maria Salinas Gomez who preceded him in death. Pablo was also preceded in death by his sister, Lupe. Pablo leaves behind his loving wife of over 59 years, Victoria “Vickie” Gomez, married on September 21, 1962. He also leaves behind his children, Steve (Michelle), Fred, Edward (Andrea), Olivia (Roberto); nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and nine siblings; Anita, Juanita, Ramon, Gilbert, Jose, Ofelia, Maria, Victor and Benito. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Pablo was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lubbock. He was a self-employed construction contractor for over 49 years. Pablo was a strong, loving man ready to help everyone, and had such a beautiful soul.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
