Ronald Sepeda Sr

Ronald Sepeda Sr. was born December 12, 1962 in Plainview to Raul & Esther Sepeda. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1980 and enjoyed fishing, watching the Cowboys and barbequing.  A hardworking man was a good way of describing Ronald as he owned and operated his own painting business for most of his life.  On his time off however, Ronald enjoyed refinishing old furniture which he would in turn give away to others or kept to furnish his own home. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather who loved his children, grandchildren and spending time with his family was a big must in his everyday life.

Ronald was taken early from this life at the young age of 57 on the evening of January 10, 2020. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Esther Sepeda of Abernathy; two sons, Ronald Sepeda Jr., Jerrod Sepeda both of Lubbock; one daughter, Heather Sepeda of Houston; a sister, Susan Ysasaga of San Antonio; five grandchildren, Khloe, Kade, Eli, Aliya, & Trae; eight nieces & nephews, J.B., Pedro, Frankie, Chastity, Apple, Sabrey, Melissa & Brandi; and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raul Sepeda; one daughter, Crystal Sepeda; four brothers, Roland, Ed, J.B. and Rob Sepeda.

Services for Ronald Sepeda Sr. will begin with a visitation starting at 6:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2020 at Alliance Church with a prayer service starting at 7:00 pm.  A celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Alliance Church with Pastor Sam Medina officiating.  Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors.
