Senaida Martinez

On May 2, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul as Senaida Martinez peacefully departed from this life in Lubbock, Texas. Senaida was born on October 19, 1949, in Slaton, Texas to the late Antonio & Jesusa Martinez. Senaida's life touched countless hearts through her passions and interests. She found joy in simple pleasures like baking, cooking for others and gardening, especially tending to her beautiful flowers; yet her greatest happiness came from precious moments spent with family and the cherished moments she created while looking after her grandchildren.

 She worked at Coca-Cola for many years, later transitioning to Grinell G-Fire where she excelled in assembly until her well-deserved retirement.

She is survived by her loving son, Oscar Andrade, & wife Charlene; her daughter, Michelle Picon, & husband Ruben; her brother, Ezequiel Martinez & wife Yolanda; three sisters: Leonor Andrade, Antonia Rivera, Delia Garcia; four grandchildren: Jonathan Lee Andrade, Christian Rene Torres, Gabriella Marie Torres, Alexa Marie Andrade; as well as five great-grandchildren: Eli Antonio Andrade, Zander Jay Andrade, Levi James Perez, Jaivyn Kai Lozoya, Alezai Marie Lozoya.

She is reunited in eternal peace with her parents and one brother, David Martinez.

Services for Ms. Martinez will be 10:00 am Monday, May 6, 2024, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Rudy Crasta officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A rosary will be held 6:00 pm Sunday, May 5, 2024, in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with visitation starting at 3:00 pm. Saturday, May 4, 2024.
